Hi
We are Nicola and Richard Carrick, we acquired our first Norwegian Forest cats in 2012, and instantly fell in love with the breed. They are large semi long hair cats with the most wonderful temperament and personality. Playful, intelligent and very interactive, these cats are a pleasure to have around and are always there to welcome us home with a chirrup and a head bump.
Our Cats come from a busy household and are well suited to family life. They share the house with us and our two daughters, the youngest being six, add to that two small dogs, fish, and a grumpy Maine Coon called Mike and you have a vibrant home that provides an excellent stepping stone for our cats into the world.
We would like to give a huge thank you to Linda Grant at Noynarock cats for allowing us to discover Norwegian Forest Cats, and for her ongoing support with both breeding and showing these magnificent cats.
Nicola has been a registered veterinary nurse for nearly twenty one years. In 2018 she was awarded a certificate in feline nursing from the ISFM, passing with a distinction. In May 2021 Nicola was promoted to practice manager. Having been brought up with animals for all of her childhood you can be assured that our cats are very well looked after and cared for.
All of our breeding cats have been tested
for Glycogen Storage Disease and
Pyruvate kinase deficiency, all have negative results
